I Will Not Fear To Look Within Today

Today’s lesson is so great, because it directs you to your Self. It is the simple recognition that the truth is in you and that all your problems have already been solved. Because when you stand in this moment, when you look within and recognize your innocence, there is no past and there is no future. There is only right now. And in this moment, in this holy instant, you stand in the present memory of the Love of your Father.
Within me is eternal innocence, because it is God’s Will that it be there forever and forever. I, His Son, whose will is limitless as is His Own, can will no change in this. For to deny my Father’s Will is to deny my own. To look within is but to find my will as God created it, and as it is. I fear to look within because I think I made another will that is not true, and made it real. Yet it has no effects. Within me is the Holiness of God. Within me is the memory of Him.
The Workbook of A Course In Miracles, and the lessons contained in it, are always only directed to you and how you use your mind. The lessons are very practical. The first 50 lessons point to your seeing, your thinking, your understanding, your determination. These are all in you. And as you go within, and look without fear, you can see how you are using your mind and what you are using it for. And in that moment you can decide to change your mind, to apply it differently, and all the angels rush in to help you. Because you are never alone. Within you is the Holiness of God, within you is the Holy Spirit who helps you when you ask, within you is the perfect memory of God, with you walks Jesus who tells you that you are resurrected with Him. So go within today, look there with open eyes and remember your holiness and sinlessness as you were created by God.
The step I take today, my Father, is my sure release from idle dreams of sin. Your altar stands serene and undefiled. It is the holy altar to my Self, and there I find my true Identity.
